ABOUT

ABOUT DR. SHANEE' PORTER

Becoming an Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) was a childhood dream of mine. In this role, I have been blessed to care for many women throughout their reproductive stages. However, over the course of my career, I began to recognize the limitations of my conventional medical background. Therefore, to truly honor the healing aspect of the patient–doctor relationship, I sought knowledge that would transform how I care for women. As an integrative OB/GYN, I combine my knowledge as a conventional board-certified OB/GYN with my deep understanding of the more holistic treatment options I obtained through my training in integrative medicine, thanks to which I can focus on transforming women’s health.

My approach involves listening attentively to your story so I can better determine what steps are needed to restore your health. Afterward, we will search for the root cause of your condition and develop a plan that will allow your body to heal holistically. Through an understanding of the connection between the mind, the body, and the spirit, as well as the importance of food as medicine, I aim to empower women by suggesting appropriate steps that would enable them to take control of their health and achieve ultimate wellness.

“We have to identify the ROOT cause of illness to RAISE our level of health.”
